Jonkman Coating has more than 10 years of experience in the chemical pre-treatment and powder coating of steel masonry support for construction. Both steel and galvanized steel. Both with their own pre-treatment and primer.

The chemical pre-treatment, followed by the powder coating system, is the result of an extensive literature study, testing and the combination of market experiences.
The system meets the toughest demands for outdoor use in harsh environments
according to the standard NEN 12944.
This has resulted in the certification of this system by KIWA, by means of a KOMO certificate.

ISO 12944

The relationship to life expectancy is shown in the ISO 12944 standard. This includes tests with a specific period of time, in which a relationship is made to the minimum technical life in a “climate” (climate classes C1 (indoor) to C5 (externally highly corrosive)). .

Tests performed according to ISO 12944

1,Adhesion before aging according to ISO 2409
2.Neutral salt spray test according to NEN ISO 9227 NSS for 1440 hours according to ISO 12944 C5 high
3.Sulfur dioxide test:  30 cycles in a closed test chamber with sulfur dioxide containing moist air according to ISO 3231 according to ISO 12944 C5 high
4.Water condensation test 720 hours according to ISO 6270.

Our system meets the requirements for class C5 high.
